Question: WHY do you tell me I had to learn to be ghetto to relate to my own people, so they would get saved, so I could teach them to live civilized, and not learn to be ghetto?

Answer:
I can identify with your thoughts (mine were similar); however God had a purpose
in the way He allowed The Black Fundamental Baptist Movement to begin.
Review some revelant scriptures:
Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Exodus 15
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Exodus 15
22So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
Exodus 17
4And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
6Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
Numbers 20
3And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!
7And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
8Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
As with Afro-Americans: with Israel God used a tree, than smite a rock, last speak to the rock.
depending on where they were spiritual to receiving the engrafted word of GOD.
God used different ways to reach Blacks depending on our superstitious and religious background similar to Israel.
Public information - Emotionalism versus "Sound Doctrine of The WORD"
Many Black Gospel singers lived different lives from what was portrayed in traditional Black churches.
Nov 15, 1982 ... The gospel singer and composer Andrae Crouch has been arrested on a charge of possessing cocaine and dangerous drugs.
Social Gospel still preached in our Black churches TODAY more emphasis on Ecumenical fellowship, Masons, Eastern Star, Jaycees, Fraternities, Sororities, Boys & Girl Scouts, programs, politics, raising money in competition in the church, exalting Days, entertainment and feeding the hungry physical food instead of The Word of God.
Romans 10
1Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
Question: Is it biblical sound for a woman to be head pastor of a church?
04/09/2010 -
Answer: Church leaders need to distinguish carefully between attitudes toward women derived from customs and traditions of the past and what the Bible actually teaches and what the early church actually did. Should a woman teach the Scriptures, and be a Senior Pastor?
We can say both men and women receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit without distinction in regard to sex including teaching and exhortation. Older women are instructed by the Apostle Paul to teach the younger women. Titus 2:3-4, The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women?
1 Cor 11:3, 8-9 the woman must recognizes the headship role of her husband.
Gal 3:28 God expects every woman to have a fulfilled ministry.
Rom 16:1-3; Phil 4:1-3 mentions other women who labored with Paul "in the Lord."
However 1 Cor 14:34-35, Let the women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Tim 2:11-13, Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, than Eve.
These two passages do seem to prohibit any kind of teaching ministry for women, especially in any public way, within the church.
The context of both passages quoted above has to do with the problem of disorder, and even some degree of defiance, in the actions of the women involved but was greatly concerned about women who disrupted the meetings with questions and comments, and perhaps even challenged the teaching of apostolic doctrine with contrary views. This is what he prohibited, as 1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
Women should not be permitted the role of authoritative definers of doctrine within the church. They must not be permitted to do this, even though they may mean well, for the role of authoritative interpreters is given by the Holy Spirit to the Bishop/Pastor/teacher/Elder, who, in the New Testament, were invariably men.
1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the HUSBAND of one wife...
Women are certainly free to teach children and other women without question.
